Hair Guide (What Hair Should I Buy?)

Can I Purchase Hair From You?

Yes, high-quality bundles are available via the website.

You can:

Purchase separately

Sleek Ponytails & Buns

- Typically require 1–2 bundles
- For fuller looks or added length, 2 bundles recommended
- Longer lengths (24”+) may require extra fullness

Half-Up, Half-Down Styles

- Typically require 2–3 bundles
- For a fuller or more glam finish, 3 bundles recommended

Traditional Sew-Ins

- Bobs require 2 bundles 14"

- 3 bundles for lengths up to 20"

- 4 bundles recommended for 22”+ or fuller looks

What Length Should I Choose?

14”–18” → Natural / everyday length
20”–22” → Glam, noticeable length
24”–30” → Full luxury, statement look

If unsure, it’s always better to go slightly longer for versatility.

What Quality Hair Should I Buy?

At Renstouch, we offer:
Virgin (Good) – soft, affordable, great for everyday wear

Premium Virgin (Better) – higher quality, longer lifespan, fuller look

Raw Collection (Best) – luxury hair, minimal processing, highest quality finish

If you want a flawless, long-lasting result, we recommend Premium Virgin or Raw.

Raw hair

100% unprocessed hair from a single donor. No chemical or steam alteration, meaning each bundle has its own natural pattern.

Offers the highest durability, can be coloured easily, and gives the most natural, full finish.

Virgin hair

Collected from donors but lightly processed (often steam-treated) to create a uniform texture across bundles.

Still high quality, but slightly less long-lasting than raw hair.

The difference

Raw hair is completely natural with maximum longevity.

Virgin hair is more uniform in appearance and more affordable.

Bookings and Appointments

What’s your booking Policy?

By booking with Renstouch, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below. These have been designed to ensure a smooth and fair experience for every client.

Booking and Booking Fees

A 40% non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your appointment and is applied towards your final service cost.
The remaining balance is due at the appointment and can be paid by cash, card, or bank transfer. Late payments are not accepted.
The booking fee is non-refundable in all cases, regardless of how much notice is given.

Your booking fee may be transferred once to a new appointment date or time within 3 months of your original appointment. After this, it will expire.

Transfers are subject to availability and must be requested via your confirmation email or by direct message.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule.
You can reschedule once using the available dates via your confirmation email. Cancellations or no-shows within 48 hours of your appointment will incur an additional £20 fee on top of the forfeited booking fee. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in being unable to book future appointments.

If Renstouch Needs to Cancel

In the rare event that Renstouch needs to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you will be offered the next available slot at a time that suits you, or a full refund of your booking fee, whichever you prefer.

Lateness

If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, a £10 late fee will be added to your total.

Significant lateness may result in your style being adjusted to fit the remaining time, or your appointment being rescheduled at the loss of your booking fee.

Pre-Appointment Preparation

To ensure the best result, your hair must be:
At least 5 inches long
Able to fit into a ponytail
Freshly washed and blow-dried before your appointment, unless otherwise instructed.

If your hair does not meet these requirements on the day of your appointment, the service may be refused or shortened at Renstouch’s discretion, and your booking fee will not be refunded.

Health, Allergies and Sensitivities

It is your responsibility to disclose any allergies, scalp sensitivities, skin conditions or relevant medical information before your appointment. Renstouch cannot be held liable for reactions, irritation or complications arising from undisclosed conditions.

If you have not had a particular service or product used on your hair before and have concerns, please request a patch test in advance of your appointment.

Refusal of Service

Renstouch reserves the right to refuse or end a service in cases of disrespectful behaviour, intoxication, unsafe conditions or where hair is found to be in a condition that cannot be safely worked with.
In these cases, the booking fee will not be refunded and any time already used will be charged.

Photos and Content

By booking, you consent to photos or videos of your hair being taken for use in social and marketing content.
If you would prefer not to be captured, please let Renstouch know at the start of your appointment.

Customer Service and Complaints

All services are non-refundable. However, your satisfaction matters, and Renstouch will always try to accommodate you where reasonable.

Any concerns about your service must be raised within 48 hours of your appointment so they can be addressed promptly.

Issues raised outside this window may not be eligible for adjustment or correction.

Add-Ons

The following add-ons may be applied where applicable:
Bank holiday appointments: £20
Slots finishing after 6:30 PM or Saturday slots: £15
Late fee over 10 minutes: £10
Emergency slots are not currently available.

How do I book an appointment?

All appointments are booked online via the Renstouch website. Availability is updated regularly and reflects all current openings.

When are new appointments released?

Appointments are released monthly on the 15th at 9PM for the following month. Eg. April slots open on the 15th March at 9pm.

Do you accept same-day or emergency appointments?

No, emergency or same-day bookings are not accepted.

I can’t find availability – what should I do?

Please join the cancellations channel via instagram for any last-minute openings.

Payments & Deposits

Is a deposit required?

Yes, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings.

Why has the deposit increased?

Deposits are in place to secure serious bookings and reduce last-minute cancellations.

Can I pay in cash?

Yes. Remaining balances are typically paid on the day of your appointment via payment link in your reminder email. Accepted payment methods will be shown at checkout.

Rescheduling, Late Policy & No-Show

Can I reschedule my appointment?

Yes, appointments can be rescheduled up to 48 hours before your booking via your confirmation email.

What happens if I’m late?

A late fee may apply after 10 minutes.

Appointments may be shortened or cancelled depending on lateness.

Do you accept same-day or emergency appointments?

No, emergency or same-day bookings are not accepted.

What happens if I don’t show up?

Your deposit will be forfeited and future bookings may be restricted.

Hair Prep & Services

Do I need to come with my hair washed?

Hair prep requirements are listed in each service description. Please read carefully before booking.

Do you provide hair (bundles)?

Yes, bundles can be purchased separately via the website. Use the Pick up in store feature at checkout if you have booked an appointment.

Do you colour hair (bundles)?

No, please see our pre coloured bundles here.

Can I bring my own hair?

Yes.

I’m not sure what to book, can I message you?

All current services and descriptions are detailed on the booking link to help you choose. Additionally you can check the description under our posts for specific details of that hairstyle. If unsure, select the closest option. Please note, we do no specialise in lace systems.

Bridal & Group Bookings

How do I book bridal services?

Bridal bookings must be submitted via the bridal enquiry form on the website ONLY. Please note, if the dates aren't showing, we are not available.

Is a trial required?

Yes, all brides must book a trial prior to their wedding date.

Is there a minimum booking for group/bridal?

Yes, minimum booking requirements apply and are outlined on the booking page.

Do you travel?

Yes, travel is available and charged based on distance.

Hair Orders & Collection

Can I collect my bundles at my appointment?

Yes, if you’ve booked an appointment, you'll need to order your hair separately. Use the 'Pick up in store" Feature at checkout and your hair will be ready for collection at your appointment time. Please note, purchases are made to order and will need 7 days processing time.

How long does hair take to be ready?

Most orders are ready within 7 working days plus your chosen shipping time, unless stated otherwise.

Communication

Can I DM you to book?

No. Although we'd love to squeeze you in, all bookings must be made via the website.

Why haven’t you replied to my message?

Due to high demand, all information is available online to ensure a smooth and fair booking experience for everyone.
